We're located on the western shore of Lake Nabugabo, Masaka District — just 3 hours from Kampala via the Masaka Highway.

From Kampala

~3 hours via the Masaka Highway. Turn off at Masaka town and follow signs to Lake Nabugabo (30 min).

From Entebbe Airport

~3.5 hours drive. We can arrange airport transfers for individuals and groups upon request.

Public Transport

Take a bus or matatu to Masaka town, then a boda-boda or taxi to Nabugabo Landing (~30 minutes).

Shuttle Service

We offer scheduled shuttle pickups from Kampala and Entebbe every Friday and Sunday. Contact us to book.

Do I need to book in advance?

While walk-ins are welcome when we have availability, we strongly recommend booking in advance — especially during weekends, school holidays, and the December-January festive season. You can book online or call us directly.

Is Lake Nabugabo safe for swimming?

Yes! Lake Nabugabo is one of the few lakes in the region that is bilharzia-free, making it safe for swimming. The water is warm year-round, and we have a designated swimming area near the shore that is monitored by our activities team.

What's included in the room rate?

All room rates include accommodation, access to the lake and beach area, basic kayak and rowboat use, and complimentary morning tea/coffee. Meals can be ordered from our restaurant at additional cost, or you can opt for a full-board package at booking.

Do you accommodate large groups or events?

Absolutely! We regularly host school trips, church retreats, team-building events, and family reunions. We can accommodate groups of up to 80 guests with custom catering and activities packages. Contact us with your event details for a tailored quote.

Is there mobile network and WiFi?

MTN and Airtel have reasonable coverage at our location. We also have WiFi available at the reception and restaurant area. However, the signal can be intermittent — many of our guests embrace the digital detox as part of the experience!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money), bank transfers, Visa/Mastercard, and cash (UGX or USD). A 50% deposit is required to confirm bookings, with the balance due on arrival.
